AddOnForge — Privacy Policy

AddOnForge ("the app") helps Shopify merchants offer product add-ons. This policy explains what data the app processes and why.

Data we process

The app reads the store's product catalog (titles, prices, images) so merchants can pick add-on products, creates one hidden helper product in the store, and registers a cart transform that groups and prices add-ons at checkout. Add-on set configuration (target products, add-ons, prices) is stored by the app.

Data we do NOT collect

AddOnForge stores no customer personal data: no names, emails, addresses, payment details, order records, or identifiers of any kind. Carts are transformed inside Shopify's own function runtime at checkout; the storefront script sends nothing to our servers. No cookies, no tracking.

Data retention and deletion

Add-on configuration is kept while the app is installed. Uninstalling the app removes its cart transform automatically, and all stored data for the shop is permanently deleted in response to Shopify's shop redaction webhook.
